Have lunch with a concert!
In the House of Hungarian Music’s Lunchtime series, we can enjoy short concerts by young talents during the lunch hour, and the 35-minute mini-concerts still leave time for a meal. At the December event of the series, the saxophone ensemble of the Liszt Academy of Music will perform a programme suited to the upcoming festive season: alongside Ottorino Respighi’s selection Ancient Airs and Dances, Hector Berlioz’s sacred song, Francis Poulenc’s motets and Béla Bartók’s work based on Romanian Christmas carols will create a truly Advent atmosphere. The members of the ensemble are: Noémi Bakó, Bálint Deli, Botond Görgei, Blanka Horváth, Levente Lajkó, Timót Magyary, Edit Merics and Ai Xulun; the artistic directors are Erzsébet Seleljo and Viktor Nagy.
The Trilla restaurant of the House of Music welcomes its guests with a special two-course menu prepared exclusively for this event. In the restaurant next to the Auditorium, which serves as the venue for the Lunchtime concerts, guests can choose between a meat and a vegetarian menu.
