Stage Call! - Goyescas

This programme is held in Hungarian.

In support of the House of Music’s mission, the Fringe program, launched in 2024, was announced in three categories – giving emerging musicians at the beginning of their careers and hobby bands, as well as street musicians, music schools and music creation workshops the opportunity to perform in various spaces of the House. In the On Stage! series, talented, up-and-coming musicians and hobby music formations (bands, vocal ensembles, mixed formations, etc.) at the beginning of their careers perform, who have so far had little opportunity to introduce themselves to a wider audience. This time, Goyescas appears on the Outdoor Stage.

The performance is the winning production of the Cziffra Festival Innovative Music Project Award.

A special encounter of music, dance and fine arts awaits you this evening. Enrique Granados’s piano suite Goyescas evokes the world of the Spanish painter Francisco Goya – filled with passion, secrets and dramatic tension. During the concert, the subtle nuances of piano artistry and the expressive power of dance intertwine: a dancing couple brings to life the stories hidden in the music, conjuring moments of love, desire and tragedy. The 2024 winning production of the Cziffra Festival Innovative Music Project Award is not just a concert, but a total art experience – where sounds, movements and visual inspirations merge into a single captivating vision. Let yourself be carried away by the passion of the Spanish soul for an unforgettable evening.

Covered Open-air Stage concerts

The program will be held even in rainy weather, as the Open-air Stage is largely covered.

In support of the House of Music's mission, we have launched the Fringe programme - a call for applications in three categories - for music schools and their students, hobby musicians and street musicians to perform at various venues in the House. The Up on Stage! series features talented beginner and amateur musicians who have had little opportunity to perform on a wider stage.
