Lunchtime Concert – Gábor Boldoczki's Students
This programme is held in Hungarian.
Give a concert at lunchtime!
Have lunch with a concert!
In the House of Music Hungary’s Lunchtime series we can enjoy short concerts by young talents at lunchtime, and the 35-minute mini-concerts even leave time for a meal. In October, two students of world-famous trumpeter Gábor Boldoczki, Sándor Nagy and Eszter Vízhányó, will join us from the Liszt Academy. The first piece on the programme will be the most famous composition by Oskar Böhme, a German trumpet virtuoso-composer with Hungarian ties and a tragic fate: his Trumpet Concerto, Op. 18. This will be followed by the first movement of a work in the same genre by Soviet-Russian composer Vladimir Ananyevich Peskin, which he composed for his fellow trumpeter Timofei Aleksandrovich Dokshizer. Finally, the two soloists will shine together in a performance of Antonio Vivaldi’s Concerto for Two Trumpets in C major. The young artists will be accompanied on piano by Yuki Farkas.
The House of Music’s Trilla restaurant awaits its guests with a special two-course menu created just for this event. In the restaurant next to the Auditorium, which hosts the Lunchtime concerts, guests can choose between a meat-based and a vegetarian menu.
Please, if you would also like to have lunch at the House of Music after the concert, do not forget to indicate your table reservation in advance using the following contacts:
