Hangadó, Árpád Tóth’s interactive educational series, which is as old as the House itself, has reached its 5th season. In the 2026/27 season we will once again explore the well-known and lesser-known chapters of a thousand years of music history through special cross-sections and unusual perspectives, while the basic premise of the lectures remains: it is simply impossible to go home from this event without humming.
Realistically or stylized, powerfully or just as a hint, the depiction of the forces of nature has a vast history in music. Be it opera, oratorio, or even a shorter, standalone instrumental or vocal piece – wind, rain, storm, or even earthquake lend a peculiar dimension to musical works – let’s listen in on the most special ones!
Dear Visitor, We kindly inform you that during the event, photographs, audio recordings, and/or video recordings may be taken. By attending the event, you consent to the recording of such materials through your implied conduct.
