As part of the Fringe program, launched in 2024 to support the mission of the House of Music, Hungary – with a call announced every year in three categories – we offer emerging musicians and hobby bands at the beginning of their careers, as well as street musicians, music schools and musical creative workshops the opportunity to perform at various locations in the House. Hats Off! is our most informal series, in which we fill the outdoor surroundings of the House of Music, the City Park, with street musicians and the music they play. This time Lydia will be performing around the House and at the Music Garden (ZeneKert).
Kitti Gáspár, stage name Lydia, is a fifth-year bass guitar student at the Bartók Conservatory. Music has been a part of her life since childhood. She sings, plays the violin, guitar, piano, and bass guitar. At the performance, she will mostly play songs from her first album together with her father; she composed both the lyrics and the music herself.
