In code language, “sierra delta” means: badly planned mission. And this is true of Soma Deli’s (Middlemist Red) studio project on every level. Songs written over five years, countless redesigns and reworkings, but the mission-like nature of the whole thing was never abandoned. The somewhat bumpy preparations were followed by a rather strong launch. In December 2024, thanks to a sudden opportunity, the project evolved into a band, and the four-piece line-up (Sára Háló, Geri Háló, Ábel Ürögdi, Soma Deli) was able to make its debut before Analog Balaton as the support act for their year-end double sold-out concert at the House of Music Hungary. They are thus returning, very fittingly, to the place where they started, this summer, to entertain their audience and lovers of groovy, synthy, R’n’B-ish laid-back music with a whole day of free programs – an afternoon picnic on the Great Meadow, and an evening concert and DJ set on the Open-Air Stage.
