In the five episodes of the Tuned to Nature film series, three things are certainly shared: live performances by contemporary Hungarian artists, the uniquely beautiful Balaton Uplands, and the person of the creator and director, László Réti. Just as colorful as the environment of the Hungarian Sea is, so varied is the lineup of musicians performing in the embrace of the most diverse natural wonders! If there is any pairing in the series where the harmony between the performer and the environment was never in doubt for a moment, it is the sound world of the multi-instrumentalist Tilla Török’s folk music formation and the Zirc Arboretum, the highest-located living tree collection in Hungary. Whether this is a concert film, a piece to inspire tourism, or a music documentary is for everyone to decide for themselves.
