The Luis Humberto Salgado Symphony Orchestra – founded in 2019 in tribute to its namesake, the renowned 20thcentury Ecuadorian composer – has established itself as a benchmark of excellence and social inclusion by bringing together musicians from diverse regions and social backgrounds of the country, performing in major national venues and collaborating with international artists. During its international tour under the direction of Maestro Gustavo Moreno, it will perform at the House of Music in Budapest to commemorate 80 years of diplomatic relations between Ecuador and Hungary, symbolizing the union of cultures and generations and showcasing Latin American talent on a stage of global significance.
Gustavo Moreno is an Argentine orchestral conductor with international projection, recognized for his artistic discipline and his ability to build bridges between cultures and generations. He has conducted ensembles in America, Europe, and Asia, participating in prestigious festivals and establishing himself as a Latin American reference in the global musical scene, contributing to the construction of cultural dialogue through music.
