MESH 2026 – Music Education Conference: Day 1
Szervezés:
Music Edutainment Showcase (MESH), a gathering focused on experiential music education. On this day, we aim to showcase as many inspiring practices from Hungary and abroad as possible, demonstrating how music can be brought to the general public—and especially to children—in an engaging way. But this is also an opportunity to meet: through music, and through it, with one another.
Following the great success of the event held in 2025, the House of Music is once again organizing its special professional development day for educators. Thursday’s program offers something new even for those who attended last year, while of course also welcoming anyone who would like to discover inspiring music education methods from Hungary and abroad for the first time. We hope that these highly practical sessions, focused on games and useful techniques, will showcase good practices that participants can take home and incorporate into their everyday work. To this end, we have organized the day’s events by the age groups participants teach (preschool, primary school, secondary school), so that in this short time everyone can gain as much knowledge as possible that is relevant to their age group. Ultimately, our goal is not only to delight the participants, but the children, too! After all, we hope they will benefit most when their teachers introduce them to the world of music with a smile and from a fresh perspective.
We hope that after taking part in the many different sessions, the educators who visit us will feel that they have become part of a network that can support them in their future work.
