Stage Call!-Eskimo Lunettes
This programme is held in Hungarian.
To support the mission of the House of Music, in 2024 we launched the Fringe program, within which – across three categories – we issued a call for applications, giving emerging musicians and hobby bands at the beginning of their careers, as well as street musicians, music schools, and music workshops the opportunity to perform in various parts of the House. In the Take the Stage! series, talented, up-and-coming musicians and hobby music formations (bands, vocal ensembles, mixed formations, etc.) at the start of their careers perform, who have so far had little chance to present themselves to a wider audience. This time, Eskimo Lunettes will give a concert on the Outdoor Stage.
Eskimo Lunettes started in 2021 as Gergő Csicsics’s bedroom project. After the release of eight self-published EPs and two singles, in 2025 they finally had the opportunity to appear on stage as a live band. With the addition of Dániel Pataki, Donát Oletics and Márk Péter Kiss, they not only function as a real band, but their creative energies have also risen to a new level.
“Our music is defined by a fusion of several genres: riffs that evoke the moods of 1960s surf rock meet hypnotic drum and bass lines, made even more chaotic by noise-like synthesizer themes. Improvisation and spontaneity play an important role in the songs. A special feature is the band’s sixth album (Sixth), on which keyboards take center stage instead of guitars.”
Dear Visitor, We kindly inform you that during the event, photographs, audio recordings, and/or video recordings may be taken. By attending the event, you consent to the recording of such materials through your implied conduct.
Covered Open-air Stage concerts
The program will be held even in rainy weather, as the Open-air Stage is largely covered.
In support of the House of Music's mission, we have launched the Fringe programme - a call for applications in three categories - for music schools and their students, hobby musicians and street musicians to perform at various venues in the House. The Up on Stage! series features talented beginner and amateur musicians who have had little opportunity to perform on a wider stage.
