Percussion Project Pécs

This programme is held in Hungarian.

At the intersection of concert and theatre, this trio’s performances virtually make the stage “disappear”: their light, creative, interactive and educational show is constantly able to hold the audience’s attention. They play rare percussion instruments that not only laypeople, but even figures of the artistic world can encounter only rarely. Their repertoire is just as wide-ranging as their collection of instruments: the special instruments of European, Latin and African music, fused with stage visuals and humour, provide a truly unique experience for the audience.

The members of the ensemble are also qualified educators, which enables them to breathe and feel together with the concertgoers, and they are excellent at creating the arc and structure of the performance.

ENERGY – DRIVE – EXPERIENCE: This is PPP!

We are welcoming the whole family to our outdoor stage with ever more exciting concerts, performances and activities at 10:30 every Saturday throughout the summer! Our series is not only dedicated to a wide variety of musical genres – from jazz through Hungarian and African folk music to classical music – but also to some great artists who may be less familiar to the general public but who really deserve more attention.
