Botond Őri-Kiss is a composer and pianist who graduated from the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music in Budapest. Since 2013 he has been composing, giving solo concerts, and collaborating with renowned jazz and contemporary musicians such as Chapelie Fou, Aznap Projekt, Dániel Horváth, István Grencsó, Szabolcs Tóth, Péter Friderikusz, and Sándor Csoóri Jr.
His first solo album, Music for Left & Right, was released recently. In 2024, with the score for the film Waving Distances, he won the Utah Dance Film Festival’s Best of Sound Design award. His concerts are musical journeys in which the audience becomes part of the musical process.
