Rita Gobi Dance Company: Don't Fuss!

Góbi Rita and Szegő Dávid's duo is about the mutual dependence and the compulsion to cooperate between music and dance (musician and dancer); it therefore concerns how two nonverbal art forms (people – man and woman) interact and struggle with each other when they have no common language and can only communicate in their own. Can this give rise to a harmony, a movement in the same direction? — the performance answers this question, or rather, asks this question…
Awards:
In 2023 the production received the "Award for the Most Outstanding Use of Music" at the Nisville Jazz Festival in Serbia. "This recognition is a tribute to the masterful fusion of movement and music, a symphony woven from elements of contrast and harmony, resulting in an engaging and uniquely charming performance."
In 2015, with this production Góbi Rita was awarded the "Best Female Dancer of the Season" prize, an award of the Association of Hungarian Dance Artists.
