THE BEGINNING – Introducing the MVM Classic&Club Chamber Orchestra
This programme is held in Hungarian.
It is a rare opportunity for the audience to be eyewitnesses and earwitnesses to the birth of an ensemble and its first tentative steps. The newly formed MVM Classic&Club Chamber Orchestra is not just another group on the Hungarian scene: this ensemble, made up of the finest young talents who have been awarded the Junior Prima Prize, is a fusion of dynamism and professional precision. “Young, energetic, and outstanding in every respect,” says János Balázs about the orchestra, whose credo is to break down musical boundaries. Their repertoire brings together the depth of classical music and the immediacy of light music, creating an exciting sound that appeals both to discerning connoisseurs and to those who are only just beginning to take an interest in quality music.
The brilliance of the concerts is further enhanced by the invited star guests, as on each occasion former Junior Prima laureates join the young musicians, artists who by now have conquered some of the world’s most prestigious concert halls. At the debut concert, the playing of two Kossuth Prize-winning performers, pianist János Balázs and violinist Kristóf Baráti, along with the captivating personality of Petra Gubik, guarantees an unforgettable experience.
Program: Works by Mozart, Debussy, Ravel, Chopin, Gershwin, and Paganini
The concert has two parts with one intermission, approx. 2 x 45 minutes
