Danubia Orchestra: Mozart, the Star of Chocoballs
This programme is held in Hungarian.
If there is an absolute "star" among composers, Mozart certainly must be one of them. Beyond his works, his personality has inspired countless creators and even chocolate makers — and that's no accident. Conductor Máté Hámori cheerfully presents Mozart's changing musical world, from childhood juvenilia all the way to the drama of the Requiem. A few letter excerpts, quotes or amusing anecdotes also seek to make the composer's life and personality appealing to children, who can become acquainted not only with Mozart's music and personality but also with his influence on and significance for the present day — all presented in a truly dynamic, colorful and enjoyable form. At the end of the performance, hopefully every audience member will take home a little slice of Mozart's magic.
