Makám Trio
The founder of Makám, Zoltán Krulik – composer, guitarist, songwriter, recipient of the Prima and Hungarian Heritage Awards – also appears as a singer, in the company of two excellent musicians who traverse the fields of jazz and world music: violinist Luca Kézdy and bass guitarist István Bata. The trio was formed in the spring of 2024. In addition to original songs, their repertoire includes pieces composed to the poems of contemporary poets Attila Jász and Tibor Zalán. They have performed at the “Énekmondók Emlékezete”, a festival commemorating Tamás Cseh in Bakonybél, at the Szentendre Open-Air Museum, at the Hétrétország Festival in Őriszentpéter, on the Day of Hungarian Culture in Esztergom, and at the Csigó Art Interdisciplinary Festival. Their first full-length album, number 225, entitled Világítótorony (Lighthouse), was recorded at Pannónia Studio.
Covered Open-air Stage concerts
The program will be held even in rainy weather, as the Open-air Stage is largely covered.
