Boggie: Apoteózis – album release
This programme is held in Hungarian.
Fonogram Award-winning Boglárka Csemer “Boggie” returns with the deepest and most personal material of her career so far: Apotheosis, the singer’s fifth authorial studio album, is on its way. The central theme of the album is human development and self‑transcendence; the songs explore how we can become better and whether “divine heights” are attainable for us in everyday life. This special material will debut live on April 25 on the stage of the House of Music Hungary.
Boggie’s authorial world is a unique intersection where the elegance of French chanson, the directness of pop music and the depth of world music meet. As a songwriter, she is not afraid of vulnerability: her songs are often inner monologues in which social issues are given just as much space as the most personal emotional struggles. Through her refined arrangements and deliberate artistic development she has become one of the most defining Hungarian singer‑songwriters, capable of fusing the melodic qualities of the Hungarian and French languages into such a unique whole that it finds its way to the hearts of audiences everywhere, regardless of borders.
Over the past decade, many important things have happened with the singer, from the success of Parfüm, which made it onto the Billboard chart, through the SXSW festival in Texas to Algeria. After the success of 2022’s Fragilité and the Hunclorique project with Petruska, released in 2025, Apotheosis represents another step up: an evening where music and soul are elevated.
