Babazuri – Öröm-Hang-Ár: Wiggly-Giggly Sound Forest
The program is held in Hungarian.
Claudia Barhács, special education teacher and singer, Veronika Földi, kindergarten teacher, jazz singer and trainer, and Anna Szlávics, singer-songwriter and Kokas-method session leader music educator, are all arts therapists. The team of the Öröm-Hang-Ár music workshop are the winners of the House of Music’s first music education showcase festival in the children’s workshop category. This time they invite the 0–3 age group and their families to their interactive music session.
In the session, old and new form a unity: alongside traditional folk rhymes, children’s songs and lap games, there is also room for improvisation and the freshness of creating together in the present moment. The shared musical experience provides an opportunity to experience emotional connection with the babies. We welcome everyone to the fairy-tale forest to listen, make sounds, play, and move together!
Babazuri is the little brother to our popular series Ramazuri, in which little ones are at the forefront of our minds! After all, "the musical education of children begins 9 months before they are born", as Zoltán Kodály famously said. Our aim is to ensure that the whole family has fun with the little ones included, so we are running parallel sessions, one for 0–3-year-olds and the other for 3–6-year-olds. Join us every month for new speakers at our Babazuri mornings! Move, play, create, and sing along with us!
