Independent Label Fair

The Independent Label Fair (ILF) is a platform created to promote Hungary’s independent record labels. As it did in 2023, the House of Music will again in 2024 be hosting Hungary’s first fair focused on physical formats (vinyl, CD, cassette) and labels that issue fresh and/or timeless treasures from beyond the musical mainstream.

These releases will be available for purchase here from the labels themselves, who will benefit directly from the sales. Last but not least, you will also be able to find unique limited edition collector’s items that are unavailable in shops. The aim of the event, now in its eighth year, is to present the public with an overview – covering dozens of musical styles – of Hungary’s independent labels who release music in physical formats, to encourage the managers of the labels to engage in discourse and to support their work at the technical level. A detailed schedule for the event will be posted soon. Admission to the event is free of charge.
