Raquel Kurpershoek (ESP)
Raquel Kurpershoek Jaldón is a 26-year-old Dutch-Spanish singer who specializes in Latin American music. Despite her young age, she has already received numerous prestigious awards. Recently, she was honored with Spain's National Cultural Award, the country's highest cultural recognition. Raquel travels the world with her music and often draws inspiration from great poets such as Mario Benedetti, Octavio Paz, or Amado Nervo. Her new album, Bienaventurada, was partially recorded in Mexico, and Nervo's poetry is central to it, with the theme revolving around the loss of a great love. This inspired Raquel to view loss not only as sorrow but also as strength and beauty. Her music is characterized by intimate moods that create a dreamy and sensitive atmosphere—just like her concerts, as she establishes a deep emotional connection with the audience during every performance.
The concert is organized with the collaboration of the Embassy of Spain in Hungary.
