Duckshell cordially invites everyone to the first CLASSICAL MUSIC CONCERT of its career. A sublimely atmospheric evening where the audience can party with star guests. The band was founded by high school friends who would gather in the Budapest night, later joined by various underground musicians. Uncompromisingly blending different styles, the unique sound of Duckshell’s music – owing to their two Brazilian members and the Hungarian connection – draws mainly from the music of the South American-Balkan axis, while also incorporating elements from many other styles. With their explosive punk attitude driving each of their shows, it’s no wonder that their popularity extends beyond Hungarian clubs and festivals, bringing them invitations for return engagements everywhere from France to Poland and Turkey. Another mark of distinction is the praise they received from Mark Beaumont, the head critic from the British magazine New Musical Express. Their first EP (Academia Banana) was released in 2020, followed by their first album (Dark Matter) in 2022. Their latest effort is 2024’s Hoszított/Magasított.
