David Eugene Edwards of 16 Horsepower and Wovenhand fame, a key figure in music for the last quarter of a century, comes to the House of Music with his first and eponymously titled solo album. He has explored every shade of antique Americana with 16 Horsepower, and played innovative, heavy, drone folk with Wovenhand – both well-known and popular bands in this country. But Edwards has never before released a solo album, nor has he ever appeared on stage in his home country.
