Musicians of the Future - Martonvásár School of Arts

This programme is held in Hungarian.

The pop-up concert in the Lobby, linked to the institution’s mission – giving promising young musicians the opportunity to introduce themselves in the House of Music – is intended primarily for music school students, in the form of shorter concerts held in our community spaces. The aim of the concert is to showcase the diversity of music education, to inspire and encourage students and teachers studying music by giving them a chance to perform, and to fill the House of Music’s community spaces with musical performances even during the day. Performers are students of the Martonvásár Elementary School of Arts.

In the School of Arts, which has been operating since 1991, classical, jazz, and folk music are taught within the music department. In addition, students can also try and develop themselves in the fields of folk dance and visual arts. The school of arts is also an accredited talent point.

The teachers currently teaching in the folk music department and the instruments that can be learned are as follows:
Annamária Szabó and Ágnes Enyedi – folk singing
Márton Gólya – folk cimbalom
Máté Tóth – folk double bass and folk music studies
Róbert Csőgör – folk string instruments and tambura

Together with their students, in addition to performances at the School of Arts and Martonvásár town events, they are also regular participants in folk music competitions, such as the Etyek Nightingale Folk Music Forum, the Halmos Béla Folk Music Meeting in Bonyhád, the Ferenc Pesovár Fejér County Folk Song Singing and Folk Music Competition, the Magdolna Gerzanics Folk Music and Folk Song Competition, and the Forgórózsa Festival in Tatabánya.

Dear Visitor, We kindly inform you that during the event, photographs, audio recordings, and/or video recordings may be taken. By attending the event, you consent to the recording of such materials through your implied conduct.
