Fröx Trio

The music of the Fröx Trio is characterized by freshness, dynamism, and musical playfulness, which is further enhanced by the sound resulting from the unique combination of instruments. The origin of this fresh, strong, and exciting musical style is the helicon bass instrument, which is almost entirely absent in our country. Experimenting with rhythmic motifs and the varied playing of the instruments makes their songs more playful and lighthearted than usual. Their repertoire mostly includes their own works – which can be classified as contemporary jazz – but their spontaneous adventures can range from New Orleans to Sonny Rollins' calypsoes, bop, funk, boogie, sramli folk hip-hop, and French avant-garde circus music, with humor that barely knows the limit and unexpected situations.
