Guided Tour for Children in the Permanent Exhibition
The House of Music’s permanent exhibition titled Sound Dimensions offers an experience that – based on hundreds of thousands of feedback responses, we can safely say – lasts a lifetime. We would like to make it possible for young children to experience this as well – and thereby give parents the opportunity to enjoy the exhibition at their own pace, knowing their children are in good hands. For this reason, we have created a guided tour specifically for children, held without adults, whose aim is to allow the youngest age group to encounter the themes of the exhibition in a way that suits their own needs.
The 90-minute session uses games, music, and the presentation of parts of the exhibition that may not be immediately noticeable to win children over to the world of music. At the same time, it gives parents 90 uninterrupted minutes to enjoy the House of Music or other sights in the City Park. In order to ensure that the children have the best possible time and can relax among their peers, we kindly ask that you purchase tickets only for children aged 4–8, and only if your child is open to participating in the program for an hour and a half without a guardian!
Adults interested in the exhibition must purchase a full-price ticket; they can visit the exhibition independently of this program.
Recommended age group: 4–8 years
Maximum number of participants: 10 children
The session is held in Hungarian.
