Ten years ago this year, Tamás Mórocz and Dániel Urbán formed Bermuda, one of the freshest-sounding Hungarian pop bands of the last decade, and one that has written itself into Hungarian music history with several generation defining hits. After many years of singles releases, the band is now issuing its first LP which, unusually, will be a ‘novel album’. The Bermuda band has produced a really contemporary pop music recording here, something like a soundtrack for a film but for a novel in this case, a unique take on one of the most popular works of Hungarian literature to date, Journey by Moonlight by Antal Szerb. The live premiere of the material will take place on 22 December at the House of Music.
