SOLD-OUT - DOME_LIVE 032 Pink Floyd The Dark side of the Moon
On the occasion of the 50th anniversary of Pink Floyd's iconic 1973 album "The Dark Side of the Moon", the Hubblo and the Society for Arts and Technology (SAT) in Montreal have created an immersive audiovisual experience of the same name at the Canadian institution's Satosphere dome space.
Pink Floyd enthusiastically embraced the idea of juxtaposing the album's music with mesmerizing images of space. Each song is paired with a unique visual dimension—sometimes futuristic and forward-looking, at other times referencing Pink Floyd's visual iconography. The entire album has been remastered with surround sound, and it is already a special experience in this dome-like, surround-sound environment to rediscover one of rock history’s most significant masterpieces.
This audiovisual creation can be seen by the Hungarian audience for a few months at the Sound Dome in the House of Music, for the first time during this DOME_LIVE premiere.
In the underground levels of the House of Music Hungary lies the Sound Dome. This is where the program begins, with a short film providing an unusual acoustic and visual experience, after which the visitors are shown an increasing number of similar films.
