DOME_LIVE 033 Pannonia Anthology
The screening is held in Hungarian.
A tribute to classic Hungarian animation through three groundbreaking short films: Regölés (László Hegyi Füstös, 1978), Világnak virága, virágnak világa (Dóra Keresztes, 2017) and Zöld intelmek minden napra (Sándor Reisenbüchler and colleagues, 1992).
The films, produced by Pannónia Filmstúdió and Kecskeméti Rajzfilmstúdió, bring Hungarian folk traditions, beliefs and the relationship between man and nature to life. The unique technology of the sound dome not only allows you to see the world of the films, but also to experience it. Word images flash across the projected sky as morph animations, while the viewer is enveloped by a whirlwind of music. It is a spiritual experience, a visual journey, and an environmentally conscious thought-provoking experience all at once.
The program is realized in collaboration with the National Film Institute and House of Music Hungary.
In the underground levels of the House of Music Hungary lies the Sound Dome. This is where the program begins, with a short film providing an unusual acoustic and visual experience, after which the visitors are shown an increasing number of similar films.
