Hiphop 50!

The hip-hop genre has reached a milestone anniversary as it turns 50 this year, because although there is no precise date for the genre's birth, its roots can be traced back to the first block parties in the Bronx in 1973, where DJ Kool Herc played funk breaks extended from sound systems. At Hiphop@50! prominent Hungarian musicians and MCs form a super group to celebrate the genre's first half-century.
