Qiyan
Qiyan, a band made up of well-known musicians from the Hungarian jazz and free music scenes, is inspired by the traditional music of the Jewish women enslaved in the Córdoban Caliphate. They have released two albums to date: their untitled 2020 debut album and 2021’s Man is a Dream About a Shadow, which incorporates traditions from the Carpathian Basin alongside the songs with Sephardic roots.
