Rachele Andrioli Masterclass
Rachele Andrioli Masterclass
One of Puglia’s most interesting voices is singer-songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Rachele Andrioli, who will also be holding a workshop at the House of Music Hungary the day after her 8 February solo concert, on Sunday, 9 February, from 10 am. A female song circle that is like an energy bomb. Andrioli is an increasingly popular performer, not only in Italy, but also on the international stage, as demonstrated by her participation in prestigious world music, jazz and classical music festivals. As well as by her collaborations with important international artists like Arto Lindsay, Piers Faccini, Baba Sissoko and Roopa Mahadevan.
This workshop is held in English.
Accompanying programme to the Listen Project exhibition
The singer/songwriter and multi-instrumentalist Rachele Andrioli is one of the most interesting voices to emerge from the southeastern Italian region of Puglia. At her concerts, Andrioli expresses herself alone on stage. Through her voice and instruments, such as the guitar and tambura, as well as innovative tools like a loop station, she evokes ancient rituals, lifting viewers up and transporting them to another place and time. With the songs from her latest album, as well as her unique repertoire, in which the creative polyphony seems to spring directly from these extreme places, she brings the audience to the unexpectedly immediate and vibrant area of Salento.
This program is held in English.
