Emma Ruth Rundle, a versatile songwriter, producer and musician throughout her career, is as capable of dreamy abstraction (as heard in Electric Guitar: One, her debut album) as she is of demanding textural exploration (such as her work with the Nocturnes, Red Sparowes and Marriages, and her collaborations with Chelsea Wolfe and Thou), or even the classic acoustic guitarist-singer-songwriter tradition (exemplified, for example, by her second album Some Heavy Ocean, 2014). She arrives at the House of Music following the release of an avant-folk album, EG2: Dowsing Voice, 2022.
