The Necks, a cult status Australian group that has been around since the late eighties, is one of the most important bands in the southern hemisphere. Almost impossible to pin down, the work of this piano, drum and bass trio ranges from avant-garde jazz through minimalist ambient process music to improvised krautrock, but none of these labels really sums them up, so let's just say that The Necks' music is something that you need to hear and experience. They are bringing their latest album to the House of Music, released in 2023, and with this trio we can expect chemistry that will blow everyone’s minds.
