On March 23, there will be a Japan Day at the House of Music, on the occasion of the upcoming Osaka Expo, which is a good opportunity to get to know Japanese culture. During the all-day event series, in addition to three concert hall programs (On a Stormy Night - matinee concert from 12:00, TAMAKKO-ZA - concert with drumming and play from 14:00, KIZUNA concert from 16:00), one can participate in many free or free but registration-required programs.
A combined day ticket for the Japan Day programs is available at a price of 7500 Ft, which allows participation in all three concert hall programs.
The Concert Hall programme opens with a concert entitled Kizuna - a bond.
Japan Day - 絆 - Kizuna - bond
This programme is a fusion of traditional Japanese culture and arts. More than 40 Japanese performers will gather in Budapest to present a performance that connects tradition with the future.
The Tsugaru shamisen ensemble - more than 20 shamisen artists will perform with traditional Japanese instruments and a spectacular stage performance. We will be enriched by an exhilarating experience of kimono show, taiko drumming, karate, calligraphy and many other "Japanese traditions".
