On March 23, the Japan Day will be held at the House of Music, in connection with the upcoming Osaka Expo, which serves as a good opportunity to learn about Japanese culture. Throughout the day, there will be three concert hall programs (On a Stormy Night - matinee concert from 12:00, TAMAKKO-ZA - concert with drums and a play from 14:00, KIZUNA concert from 16:00) alongside numerous free or free, but registration-required events to participate in.
Combined day tickets are available for the Japan Day programs at a price of 7500 Ft, which allows entry to all three concert hall programs.

The Concert Hall programme opens with a matinee concert entitled On a stormy night.
Japan Day programmes are a fun way for children and families alike to experience Japanese music education. The concert will feature a musical game that will include on-screen narration in Hungarian of various Japanese picture books, as well as sayings and folk songs. At the end, there will be an opportunity to participate in a game of sorts.
As part of Japan Day, we invite everyone interested in Japanese music and culture to a wonderful concert. Artists from far away will not only tell you about Japan, but also about its special instruments through playing with the audience. But of course the instruments will not remain silent either, they will also tell a story with their magical voices, namely a Japanese tale, One Stormy Night.
The sessions will be led by Yuki Farkas, pianist and music teacher.
