Veronaki - Mesebolt Puppet theater: Mosó masa mosodája
The program is held in Hungarian.
The Veronaki band is a returning guest of the House of Music, thanks to the fact that they delight their youngest audience with newer and newer albums. With Mosó Masa's Laundry, the band continues the tradition they started with the musical adaptation of Gőgös Gúnár Gedeon: introducing children to the excellent, humor-infused poems of writer Katalin Varga in the form of quality music. The album provides a fresh, contemporary musical experience for both adults and children in terms of sound and style. This inspired one of Hungary's finest puppet theaters, the Mesebolt Puppet Theater in Szombathely, to adapt the album's material. Known for its perfect understanding of children's language yet offering novel and spectacular solutions, the theater's first stop after its Szombathely premiere is the House of Music.
Music too has its own close friends. And as friends do, they often meet up to create wonderful things together. In this series, we aim to show how dance, theatre, and poetry are all connected to music and, conversely, how the addition of music can enhance these other art forms. As for how we plan to do this, suffice it to say that these special performances in this series are all inspired by folk traditions, so those attending them will also be exposed to some of Hungary’s tremendous richness in this regard! So anyone who enjoys learning new things while having fun would do well to purchase tickets for this series!
This programme is recommended for visitors aged 5 and older.
