The highly successful Salsa in the Park dance program will once again entertain fans of Latin music this summer and early autumn on the Open-Air Stage of the House of Music. At the free events in 2026, the program will be expanded by the Budapest-based Son tres band, Jose Dj Cuba’s Latin sets and Bea’s dance teaching. The DJ sets and the live band blocks will alternate. Son tres has already toured all over Europe; among the members of the band are artists with Venezuelan, Cuban, and Colombian roots who bring passionate and vibrant Latin rhythms to the audience. The members of Son tres guarantee a fantastic atmosphere at every party while they play bachata, salsa, cumbia, reggaeton and other Latin styles – with salsa, of course, in the spotlight this time!
Singer and band leader Guillermo Macsotay was born in Venezuela to a Hungarian father and Venezuelan mother. He completed his musical studies in Venezuela at the ArsNova school, as well as in the United States and Hungary, achieving success with various salsa and fusion bands. He is one of the best Hungarian fusion pianists, a graduate of the Liszt Ferenc Academy of Music in Budapest, who took his first steps in the band of Aladár Pege, where he played as a professional pianist for more than 15 years. Today, he is not only specialized in Latin music, but also has two solo albums. Cuban percussionist Angel Miguel León Cruz, with a long professional history, originally began his career at the Austrian-based, world-renowned Havana Son Club, with which he traveled the world representing Cuban culture. Aldober Acevedo, Colombian bass guitarist, composer and musician, has had a long career in bands such as Richie Ray and Bobby Cruz, as well as Grupo Niche. At the end of the 1990s, he moved to Asia, where he played in Thailand, China and the Southeast Asian region; he currently lives in Budapest. For this performance, the trio will be joined by pianist Zsolt Koloncsák.

1st block Jose Dj Cuba: from 17:30 to 18:30
2nd block Son tres: from 18:30 to 19:15
3rd block Jose Dj Cuba: from 19:15 to 19:45
4th block Son tres: from 19:45 to 20:30
5th block Jose Dj Cuba: from 20:30 to 21:00
Covered Open-air Stage concerts
The program will be held even in rainy weather, as the Open-air Stage is largely covered.
