Jázmin Takács-Nagy: Weaving of Sounds

Music Edutainment Showcase, or MESH. In Hungarian, this translates to "HÁLÓ," or more specifically, a musical experiential education meeting. This is the essence of these two days, where we strive to present as many best practices as possible on how to convey music in an experiential way to the general public, especially children. However, it is also important that this is an opportunity to meet: with music and, through it, with each other. In this spirit, on Saturday we will present the best of the music education sessions running at the House, so that everyone can experience music as a source of joy.
About the session:
The 45-minute session starts with the sounds around us: we discover how the world and we ourselves sound. We examine what sounds and rhythms we hear in our environment and what sounds we can create with our own bodies. Step by step, we move on to the most modern tools, where we can create music from our own voices with the help of a looper. The motif of circularity appears several times during the joint play, just as music and life are built on repeating patterns. Participants experience how we can tell stories with sounds, rhythms, and music.
The program is recommended for ages 10 and up.
