The closing concert of our thematic weekend titled City in the House – Szeged will be a performance by the city's iconic rock band, the Nyers ensemble, led by Zoltán Czutor. On Sunday evening, one of the most emblematic rock bands from Szeged, Nyers, which was active until the mid-2000s and has since reunited only for special occasions, will perform, led by Zoltán Czutor (later of Belmondo) – on this special occasion. In the history of Hungarian music, their unique world incorporating funk rock, alternative metal, and later various stylistic exercises, creating many hits, was a beautiful stroke of color in the 1990s and early 2000s.
