Label Night: Blunt Shelter
Blunt Shelter Records is one of the most prominent – mainly instrumental and jazz hip-hop – record labels in Hungary and is also globally recognized for the high quality of its releases. Launched five years ago in November 2017, the prolific label and collective has just issued its 30th vinyl release, on this occasion, Blunt Shelter invites listeners to join a fusion spacewalk at the House of Music's Label Night series. Samplers, analogue synths, Fender Rhodes jingles, hard-hitting drums, clever raps and soothing vibes define the evening. The event kicks off with the first live lo-fi/jazz fusion show by Bencze Molnár (Jazzbois, Baen Mow) and Levente Antal (BluntOne), followed by a live performance of Air, a new album created by Dániel Erdélyi (don C) and Kolos Halász (Co Lee), accompanied by an sp 404 and a microphone. Tamás Varga (WaTa) and Fanni Zahár will close the evening with an eclectic cross genre set.
