Do you have carefully curated playlists? Has it ever happened that you showed a newly discovered song to your friends, and seeing their bewilderment you found it hard to explain to them why and what makes this such great music? If you recognized yourself in the above, we probably aren't revealing a big secret: you are a true music lover! So are we. For you and music gurus like us, we created the quiz series "Bass, I knew it!" in the Popcultural Club Library of the House of Hungarian Music.
If you're curious how at home you are in the world of music, this is the place for you! We welcome teams of up to five members. The roughly two-hour quiz evening — as you can tell from the above — is recommended more for advanced participants, or at least for those not completely unfamiliar with the world of music. You should primarily prepare for a pop-cultural, pop music quiz, but questions from the realm of classical music may also crop up.
We are also pleased to announce that, thanks to our cooperation launched with MONYO Brewing, from autumn 2025 the winning team, in addition to the existing prize codes redeemable for tickets to the House of Hungarian Music, will also be able to take home a valuable gift package assembled from the brewery’s most exciting beers and soft drinks!

Do you maintain carefully curated playlists? Have you ever played a newly discovered song to your puzzled friends and then had to explain, with considerable effort, what makes it such great music? If you recognise yourself in the above, then this might not be such a big secret for you, but you are a die-hard music fan! Just like us. Just for you and music gurus like ourselves, we have created the Dammit, I Knew That! quiz series, held in the Pop Culture Club Library of the House of Music, Hungary.
