Guided Tour for Children in the Permanent Exhibition

The House of Music Hungary’s permanent exhibition titled Dimensions of Sound offers an experience that – based on hundreds of thousands of pieces of feedback, we can safely say – will last a lifetime. We would like to make this experience accessible to young children as well – and at the same time give parents the opportunity to enjoy the exhibition at their own pace, knowing their children are in safe hands. For this reason, a guided tour has been created specifically for children, taking place without adults, with the aim of allowing the youngest age group to encounter the themes of the exhibition in a way that suits their own needs.
The 90-minute session uses games, music, and the presentation of parts of the exhibition that may not be immediately apparent in order to win children over to the world of music. At the same time, it allows parents to enjoy the attractions of the House of Music Hungary or even other sights of City Park uninterrupted for 90 minutes. So that the children can feel as good as possible and relax among their peers, we kindly ask that you purchase tickets only for children aged 4–8, and only if your child is open to participating in the program for an hour and a half without an accompanying adult!
Adults interested in the exhibition must purchase a full-price ticket and can view the exhibition independently of this program.
