Guided Tour for Children in the Permanent Exhibition

The House of Music Hungary’s exhibition titled Sound Dimensions offers an experience that—based on hundreds of thousands of feedback entries, we can safely say—lasts a lifetime. We would like to make it possible for young children to experience this as well—and thereby give parents the opportunity to enjoy the exhibition at their own pace, knowing their children are in good hands. For this reason, we have created a guided tour specifically for children, taking place without adults, whose aim is to allow the youngest age group to encounter the themes of the exhibition in a way that suits their own needs.
This 90-minute session uses games, music, and the presentation of parts of the exhibition that may not be immediately noticeable at first glance to draw children into the world of music. At the same time, it allows parents to enjoy the House of Music Hungary or even other attractions of City Park for 90 minutes without interruption.
In order for the children to feel as good as possible and to be able to open up among their peers, we kindly ask that you purchase tickets only for children aged 4–8, and only if your child is open to participating in the program for an hour and a half without an accompanying adult!
Adults interested in the exhibition need to purchase a full-price ticket; they can visit the exhibition independently of this program.
