Guided Tour for Children in the Permanent Exhibition
The House of Music Hungary’s permanent exhibition titled Dimensions of Sound offers an experience that – based on hundreds of thousands of feedback responses, we can confidently say – is one that lasts a lifetime. We would like to make it possible for young children to experience this as well – and at the same time give parents the opportunity to enjoy the exhibition at their own pace, knowing their children are in good hands. For this reason, we have created a guided tour specifically for children, held without adults, whose aim is to enable the youngest age group to engage with the themes of the exhibition in a way that suits their own needs.
The 90-minute session uses games, music, and the presentation of points in the exhibition that may not be immediately apparent to win children over to the world of music. At the same time, it allows parents to enjoy the other attractions of the House of Music Hungary or even City Park for 90 minutes without interruption. In order for the children to feel as good as possible and to be able to loosen up among their peers, we kindly ask that you purchase tickets only for children aged 4–8, and only if your child is open to taking part in the program for one and a half hours without an accompanying adult!
Adults interested in the exhibition are required to purchase a full-price ticket; they can view the exhibition independently of this program.
Recommended age group: 4–8 years
Maximum number of participants: 10 people
The session is held in Hungarian.
