Guided Tour for Children in the Permanent Exhibition
The House of Music Hungary’s permanent exhibition titled Sound Dimensions offers an experience that – based on hundreds of thousands of feedbacks, we can safely say – lasts a lifetime. We also want to make it possible for underage children to experience this – and at the same time give parents the opportunity to enjoy the exhibition at their own pace, knowing that their children are in good hands. For this reason, we have created a guided tour specifically for children, held without adults, whose aim is to allow the youngest age group to encounter the themes of the exhibition in a way that suits their own needs.
The 90-minute session uses games, music, and the presentation of parts of the exhibition that may not be obvious at first glance to win children over to the world of music. At the same time, it allows parents to enjoy, without interruption for 90 minutes, the House of Music Hungary or even other sights of the City Park. In order for the children to feel as good as possible and to be able to loosen up among their peers, we kindly ask that you purchase tickets only for children aged 4–8, and only if your child is open to taking part in the program for an hour and a half without an accompanying adult!
Adults interested in the exhibition are required to purchase a full-price ticket; they can view the exhibition independently of this program.
Recommended age group: 4–8 years
Maximum number of participants: 10 people
The session is held in Hungarian.
