Guided Tour for Children in the Permanent Exhibition
The session is held in Hungarian.
The House of Music’s exhibition titled Sound Dimensions offers an experience that—based on hundreds of thousands of responses, we can confidently say—will last a lifetime. We would like to make this experience accessible for underage children as well, thus giving parents the opportunity to enjoy the exhibition at their own pace, knowing their children are in safe hands. For this reason, we have created a guided tour specifically for children, held without adults, the aim of which is to allow the youngest age group to encounter the exhibition’s themes in a way that suits their own needs.
This 90-minute session seeks to win children over to the world of music through games, music, and the presentation of parts of the exhibition that might not be discovered at first glance. At the same time, it allows parents to enjoy the House of Music or even other sights of the City Park for 90 minutes without interruption.
In order for the children to feel as good as possible and to be able to relax among their peers, we kindly ask that tickets be purchased only for children aged 4–8, and only if your child is open to participating in the program for an hour and a half without an accompanying adult!
Adults interested in the exhibition are required to purchase a full-price ticket; they can visit the exhibition independently of this program.
