Guided Tour for Children in the Permanent Exhibition
The House of Hungarian Music’s permanent exhibition titled Sound Dimensions offers an experience that – based on hundreds of thousands of feedback responses, we can safely say – is one that lasts a lifetime. We would like to make this experience accessible to young children as well – and at the same time give parents the opportunity to enjoy the exhibition at their own pace, knowing their children are in safe hands. For this reason, we have created a guided tour specifically for children, held without adults, whose aim is to allow the youngest age group to encounter the themes of the exhibition in a way that suits their own needs.
The 90-minute session uses games, music, and the presentation of parts of the exhibition that may not be noticeable at first to win children over to the world of music. At the same time, it allows parents to enjoy the House of Hungarian Music or even other sights of City Park for 90 minutes without interruption. In order for the children to feel as good as possible and to be able to relax among their peers, we kindly ask that you purchase tickets only for children aged 4–8, and only if your child is open to participating in the program for an hour and a half without an accompanying adult!
Adults interested in the exhibition must purchase a full-price ticket; they can view the exhibition independently of this program.
