Shinrin Yoku meditative walk in the park
Shinrin Yoku meditative walk in the park
This programme is held in Hungarian.
Let’s go forest bathing together for four months in the City Park! We invite everyone to a two-hour group, recreational walk, based on the method of forest therapy. It helps participants slow down, calm down, relax, and observe everything that surrounds them right here and now. Led by Niki Rendes, an environmental educator, forest bathing leader, and tree examiner, we pay attention to both outside and inside. We connect with ourselves, nature, each other, and the constant change. There are no expectations, just experiencing the small joys and wonders of the moment. Guaranteed refreshment, offline relaxation in the fresh air. At the first event in May, we invite you to get to know us. Birds, trees, insects, clouds, wind, you and me. An hour and a half of rediscovering the May nature, trees, birds, ourselves, and each other with the subtle support of the forest bathing/Shinrin yoku method.
The Forest Baths around the House of Music are a series of unusual, thematic forest bathing walks in the City Park, linked to natural phenomena, periods, sounds, and scents and to the House of Music. It is possible to register for individual events. The program is based on the sequence of guided forest bathing walks developed by international forest therapy institutes.
THE AIM is relaxation, rejuvenation, physical and mental regeneration, community experience, and quality me-time. Inner Forest experience in the City Park. Let’s explore the forest therapeutic gifts of this urban park together! This forest bathing-based small group quiet walk is for you:
if you want to recharge, refresh both mentally and physically,
if you would like to spend a few hours with kind, nature-loving people in the spring nature,
if you want to experience the sustaining power of the community, and would like to enrich with new perspectives,
if you would like to try stress-relief, mindfulness exercises that can be applied and taken home in everyday life,
if you want to deal with your current questions, problems, challenges from a different perspective, or be able to let them go for a while,
if you would like to wander, observe, explore, and fill your lungs with fresh air,
if you would like to reconnect with nature - that is, with yourself - by engaging all your senses,
or if you simply long for a pleasant, light, health-supporting program!
Join us, warmly welcoming you: Niki Rendes, Forest Therapy Hub trained forest bath leader, Duna Ipoly National Park licensed service provider.
Niki Rendes
I am Niki Rendes, an environmental educator, forest bath leader, and tree examiner. I completed my university studies in biology, researched ecology, and then lived in Guinea, West Africa, where I was involved in field research among other activities. The African jungle, tropical trees, savannas, culture, people, colors, and scents have been my childhood dream and eternal love, inspiration. For the past twenty years, most of my energy has been devoted to environmental and global education, projects promoting social justice, sustainable lifestyle, and voluntary simplicity. I find it essential to be able to reconnect with nature. This is why I trained as a tree examiner and forest bath leader and hold Inner Forest experience programs.
