Once Upon a Time - Linsey Coppens (mezzo-soprano) & Yeon-Min Park (piano)

The world of fairy tales played a dominant role in the art of the Romantic era – not only in poetry, but also in music: nineteenth-century composers turned to the imaginary realms of ghosts, goblins, witches and other magical creatures in their songs. It is from this rich harvest that two of last year's highly successful young musicians, mezzo-soprano Linsey Coppens, winner of the special prize of the Hungarian House of Music at the 5th Éva Marton International Singing Competition, and Yeon-Min Park who shared second prize and was the audience prize winner of the 2022 Utrecht Liszt Ferenc International Piano Competition, have selected their programme for this joint concert.
